Trek through the Montane Forest of the Cameron Heights - Malaysia.
A jungle trek through the highlands up to Gunung Berembun. The Berembun range is protected primary forest where the air is generally cooler, there is a lot of birdlife and thanks to the altitude, lots of mosses and lichen.
During the colonial era, the British grew tea on the rich fertile mountain slopes of the Cameron Highlands, a practice continued today by locals. Since then, it has become the biggest tea exporter in Malaysia along with a constant supply of vegetables to the country and Singapore.
